I feel pity for human ignorance. Peace is taboo in Islam. Allah commands, (Koran 2:216 and 8:65) "Fight until persecution, which is worse than slaughter, (Koran, 2:191) is no more and religion is all for Allah." (Koran 8:39). Thus, Islam, camouflaged as secular, is a religion of the sword with the blade forever at the throat of every unbeliever. Allah has consigned those Muslims, who did not adopt crusade (Jihad) and observed peace to their grave hell, since the inception of Islam. They would bear the punishment until Qayamat i.e the Day of Judgment. However, those who plundered, murdered, raped women of non-Muslims, became Ghazi, if survived, and secured instant supreme heaven (Firdaus) if slain. Allah is fraud. Allah promises heaven but consigns Muslims in hell until The Day of Judgment.
If UOI still insists that Islam wants peace and that Islam respects Vedic Sanaatan Dharm, first she should ban Azaan, which is abuse to Ishwar and Vedic Sanaatan Dharm. Demolish Quwwatu'l Islam Maszid of Mehrauli built with the debris of 27 temples demolished by Islam and erect the temples. Ask Saudi Arabia to return our Kameshwar Mahadev temple, the so called Qaba, situated in Mecca, after erecting 359 idols demolished by Ali.
There is nothing peaceful about Islam. Islam's dogmas breed ruthless killers. At her direction, Muslims will continue to terrorize the world until non-Muslims are no more.
Koran 61:4 "Surely Allah loves those who fight in His Cause." Ishaq:300 "I am fighting in Allah's service. This is piety and a good deed. In Allah's war I do not fear as others should. For this fighting is righteous, true, and good."
Koran 47:4 "When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle (fighting Jihad in Allah's Cause), smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making (them) captives. Thereafter either generosity or ransom (them based upon what benefits Islam) until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam."
Leaders, Islamic and Missionary politicos and clerics are purposely deceiving humanity. The truth isn't hidden, nor it is hard to find. Media is scared, clueless, and willfully ignorant at the cost of human eradication.
Peaceful Muslims would continue to wage Jihad until we stop them by eliminating their means and motivation. Means is petro dollars and motivation is Koran. (Koran 8:39). If we don't retaliate, they would keep on killing Human races.

Geneva: 24 September 2010: The 9th anniversary of the horror of 9/11 was observed recently in the midst of bitter controversies sparked by the proposed mosque near the ground zero site and the threats to burn the Quran. The debate surrounding these issues has further intensified the religious intolerance, and xenophobia facing the Muslim minorities in some quarters in the West today. But I think, we Muslims too have not helped our cause by reacting with a wild and generalised condemnation of the West, using expressions like "sanctimonious arrogance of the West," as the ambassador of an important Muslim country did in an informal meeting in this building a few days ago.
There is only one way to both protect world peace and defend Muslims' rights: let the silent majority of peaceful Muslims assert their choice. Peaceful Islam is genuine Islam, the mainstream Islam, as I shall demonstrate, and if we are to oppose the regrettable anti Muslim hysteria triggered in some Western circles, it is our prime task, as Muslims, not to fuel these fears further.
A phenomenal rise in Islamophobia now bordering on anti-Muslim frenzy in some quarters has alarmed the civil society in the West as much as in the Muslim communities around the world. From US President Barack Obama and other Western leader to numerous social activists and media analysts have said repeatedly that the perpetrators of 9/11 were terrorists and the West is at war with the followers of Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, not with Islam or Muslims in general. But the fear of Islam is nevertheless steadily growing, although the world has to fear not Islam, but those who distort Islam just to find something "holy" in their monstrous deeds. ….
I would like to take this opportunity to urge fellow Muslims around the world to:
a) Declare repeatedly that Peaceful Islam is genuine Islam, the mainstream Islam. Denounce Osama bin Laden and A-Qaeda terrorists and ask our ulema (religious scholars) to declare these agents of Satan to be beyond the pale of Islam.
b) Loudly and repeatedly reject the jihadist ideology of Islam-supremacism as incompatible with the teachings of Islam. The Holy Quran asks us repeatedly to respect all previous prophets of God, all 124,000 of them, equally as Prophet Mohammad.
c) Stop blaming the entire West for provocations of a few right wingers who have a vested interest in fanning the fear of Islam, as they once had in promoting the fear of Catholicism or Judaism. Instead, appreciate those who are making admirable efforts to fight the growing Islamophobia and now even Quranophobia.
d) Promote debate within the community to establish the Quranic ideal that even the killing of one innocent person amounts to killing the entire humanity and that the so-called offensive Jihad being propagated by some ulema is just not a part of Islam.
e) Declare repeatedly the situational nature of the verses that constitute the holy Quran and that instructions that came 1400 years ago for a specific situation are no longer relevant as injunctions from God to be followed in the here and now.
f) Fight our own victim mentality. Start taking responsibility for our actions.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE RELIGIOUS
In every religious tradition God's name is truth. In Islamic tradition one of Allah's name is Haq i.e. Truth. Without being truthful and engaged in constant quest for truth one can hardly be religious. … Along with constant quest for truth humility is required. Any sense of truth being any ones monopoly leads to sense of arrogance and destroys the very quality of truth.
That is why Qur'an says that all previous prophets came with truth and requires Muslims not to distinguish between one and the other prophets, those who do so are not true believers. All prophets and great religious thinkers were committed to quest for truth. Also, Qur'an maintains that Allah has created diversity, not uniformity so that one could understand different forms of truth without leading to arrogance. Anyone engaged in quest for truth has to have a quality of humility. Qur'an strongly denounces mustakbitin (the powerful and arrogant). Most of the Prophets mentioned in the Qur'an were of humble origin.
Third important quality for being truly religious is being compassionate i.e. being sensitive to others suffering. Anyone who is not compassionate cannot be a true human being, let alone religious. Allah's name in Qur'an is Compassionate Merciful (Al-Rahman al-Rahim) and Prophet Muhammad has been described as Mercy of the Worlds (Rahmatan li-Al'alamin). Any Muslim who is not compassionate would never be a true Muslim. -- Asghar Ali Engineer

Solving the Ayodhya Tangle: Listen to a 'Low' Caste Hindu in a Faizabad Mosque
'They should not have destroyed mosque', he replies, referring to the Hindu hordes who tore down the Babri Masjid in 1992, unleashing a deadly dance of violence across India in which thousands of people, mainly Muslims, were slaughtered. 'But, on the other hand, some Hindus claim that Babar had destroyed a temple to build the mosque in the first place. If a temple is built on the spot the Muslims will feel bad, and if the mosque is rebuilt Hindus will be angry. It is best to let the site be as it is.' I nod, somewhat, but not entirely, in agreement.
As we shake hands and I am about to depart, Ram Kumar adds, 'Only if, and when, Hindus and Muslims both come to realise that Allah or Ishwar—call Him what you will—cannot be captured in a building made of stone, and that He resides in the heart of every person, in every particle of the universe, in fact, that we can finally solve the Ayodhya conflict to everyone's satisfaction.'

Syed Ali Shah Geelani and the Movement for Political Self-Determination for Jammu and Kashmir -- Part 5
Geelani wholeheartedly commends the ongoing militant struggle in Jammu and Kashmir, blessing it as an Islamically-mandated 'jihad', and insists that it must continue till India agrees to let the people of the state participate in a plebiscite to decide between India or Pakistan, or, if this is not possible, to grant freedom to Jammu and Kashmir.
At the same time, however, Geelani readily admits that the militant movement has not been without its problems. The most crucial of these he identifies as internecine fighting within the ranks of what he terms as the mujahidin. On occasion, he appears to evade this question altogether by branding it as 'Indian propaganda' and insisting that 'there is no ideological conflict at all' in the ranks of the mujahidin, all of them being unanimous on freedom from India —although here he conveniently glosses over the stark ideological differences between pro-independence Kashmiri Muslim ethno-nationalists and pro-Pakistan Islamists.
Geelani also makes no mention at all about the fact that many men have joined the ranks of the militants not out of any ideological commitment, certainly not of pure Islamic passion, as he seems to claim, but, rather, simply to loot, plunder and target, and to settle personal scores and eliminate personal enemies. Only once throughout the book does Geelani refer to these activities, but then only with an oblique reference to what he terms as 'irresponsible actions' (ghair zimmedar harkat) of some unnamed elements. -- Yoginder Sikand , NewAgeIslam.com

Although the tactics of the incumbent government led by President Asif Ali Zardari are different from those adopted by former president Pervez Musharraf, the aim of both governments remains the same, exiled Baloch leader Brahamdagh Bugti told AK Chishti of Daily Times on 23 Septeber, 2010.
Q. What do you think of the current government's initiative with regards to Balochistan since President Zardari is himself a Baloch.
Brahamdagh Bugti: The tactics are different from Musharraf's era, but the aim is absolutely the same. The current government is worse than the previous government for Balochistan. During the previous government, the government conducted operation against Balochs at a specific area, but now it has spread out to all of Balochistan. Now our political leaders, intellectuals and activists are targeted too. Let's not talk about Zardari too much because he has no authority. The politicians don't have any control. The Punjabi lobby doesn't want to solve our problems because there is a vested interest. Balochistan feeds Punjab and unless there is a change in the Punjabi psyche, nothing will change.

Stoning to Death: Separate the spiritual message of Islam from penal laws
The task in hand for modern Muslims is to separate the spiritual, moral and ethical message of Islam from penal laws reflecting the sensibilities of tribal society of the seventh century.
The well-known English journalist Robert Fisk has presented a detailed investigative report, 'The crimewave that shames the world' in The Independent, September 7, 2010, about so-called honour killings. Not surprisingly, the highest incidence of such crimes is in the Muslim world, though even some non-Muslim Middle Eastern minorities and Hindus in India practise it. What I found particularly shocking was that after murdering a daughter or sister, a Muslim culprit can walk away scot-free because the Islamic law of qisas (retaliation) allows heirs to pardon the criminal. Thus, other family members can pardon the offender. All such relics of barbarism have to be done away with. Already in the 19th century, Maulvi Chiragh Ali wrote that the Quran is not a book of law. Justice Munir has also advanced similar arguments. Privately, most of the educated Muslims I talk to agree with me that hudood laws, blasphemy laws and many other such laws are anachronisms that have no place in the 21st century. Message to Muslims: I'm Sorry
Many Americans have suggested that more moderate Muslims should stand up to extremists, speak out for tolerance, and apologize for sins committed by their brethren.
That's reasonable advice, and as a moderate myself, I'm going to take it. (Throat clearing.) I hereby apologize to Muslims for the wave of bigotry and simple nuttiness that has lately been directed at you. The venom on the airwaves, equating Muslims with terrorists, should embarrass us more than you. Muslims are one of the last minorities in the United States that it is still possible to demean openly, and I apologize for the slurs.
I'm inspired by another journalistic apology. The Portland Press Herald in Maine published an innocuous front-page article and photo a week ago about 3,000 local Muslims praying together to mark the end of Ramadan. Readers were upset, because publication coincided with the ninth anniversary of 9/11, and they deluged the paper with protests. So the newspaper published a grovelling front-page apology for being too respectful of Muslims. "We sincerely apologize," wrote the editor and publisher, Richard Connor, and he added: "we erred by at least not offering balance to the story and its prominent position on the front page." Honour killings: A tragedy, a horror, a crime against humanity
The details of the murders – of the women beheaded, burned to death, stoned to death, stabbed, electrocuted, strangled and buried alive for the "honour" of their families – are as barbaric as they are shameful.
Many women's groups in the Middle East and South-west Asia suspect the victims are at least four times the United Nations' latest world figure of around 5,000 deaths a year. Most of the victims are young, many are teenagers, slaughtered under a vile tradition that goes back hundreds of years but which now spans half the globe.
A 10-month investigation by The Independent in Jordan, Pakistan, Egypt, Gaza and the West Bank has unearthed terrifying details of murder most foul. Men are also killed for "honour" and, despite its identification by journalists as a largely Muslim practice, Christian and Hindu communities have stooped to the same crimes. Indeed, the "honour" (or ird) of families, communities and tribes transcends religion and human mercy. But voluntary women's groups, human rights organisations, Amnesty International and news archives suggest that the slaughter of the innocent for "dishonouring" their families is increasing by the year. -- Robert Fisk

Is God Homeless That He Needs A House in Ayodhya? Asks Yoginder Sikand
Finally, we arrive in the vicinity of the former Babri Masjid, this being indicated by layers of barbed wire, sand bags untidily heaped on each other, and rows of policemen loitering about and acting busy. I join a serpentine queue a mile from what is euphemistically termed the 'disputed site', but it takes a good one hour, and several rounds of frisking, before I finally stand before the miserable little knoll for whose sake tens of thousands of people have lost their lives, and probably many more will in the days to come, as Hindus and Muslims lay claim to its possession all in the name of the divine and communal identity. Nothing at all remains of the original structure that I saw two decades years ago—the three breast-shaped domes with their nipple-like tips that balanced on massive black stone pillars carved with round bottomed kalashes and flowers. Suicide Bombings: Why is Pakistan such a failed state?
During this blessed month of Ramadan no Muslim can even imagine getting involved in fighting or any type of terror. In such a sacred month every Muslim is supposed to keep himself engaged in Saum-o-Salaat and recitation of the Holy Quran. And yet in a country that is proud of being called an Islamic republic, there is a group which is involved in killings and that too of its own Muslim brethren. More than that, this group calls itself Muslim, and as if that were not enough of an outrage, a Mujahid of Islam. You would have understood which group I am referring to. This so called Muslim group is known as the "Pakistani Talibaan". This is the very group which killed hundreds of Shia Muslims first in Lahore and then at Gauri through suicide bombing. The question is what kind of an Islam this is that these Pakistani Taliban wish to establish. What was the crime of those killed? China's Discreet Hold on Pakistan's Northern Borderlands
Mystery surrounds the construction of 22 tunnels in secret locations where Pakistanis are barred. Tunnels would be necessary for a projected gas pipeline from Iran to China that would cross the Himalayas through Gilgit. But they could also be used for missile storage sites. Until recently, the P.L.A. construction crews lived in temporary encampments and went home after completing their assignments. Now they are building big residential enclaves clearly designed for a long-term presence.
What is happening in the region matters to Washington for two reasons. Coupled with its support for the Taliban, Islamabad's collusion in facilitating China's access to the Gulf makes clear that Pakistan is not a U.S. "ally." Equally important, the nascent revolt in the Gilgit-Baltistan region is a reminder that Kashmiri demands for autonomy on both sides of the cease-fire line would have to be addressed in a settlement. Media attention has exposed the repression of the insurgency in the Indian-ruled Kashmir Valley. But if reporters could get into the Gilgit-Baltistan region and Azad Kashmir, they would find widespread, brutally-suppressed local movements for democratic rights and regional autonomy. -- Selig S. Mullahs and maulvis of Uttar Pradesh and some other self-styled Muslim leaders have threatened Mayawati government of dire consequences unless a chapter on Ahmadiya Islamic sect is removed from the Social Study book of standard xth. These maulanas, reverentially called ulama (scholars), although most of them, completely ignorant of the world around them, should be better called Juhala (ignoramuses), have warned U P chief minister Mayawati of country-wide protests, if this section of the book is not immediately removed.
The maulanas may have actually struck gold in the form of this mention of Ahmadiyas as an Islamic sect in the UP social science book. They have been on the lookout for long for an emotional issue on which to create more disturbances in the country and mint money. Babri demolition did not only rob the Sangh Pariwar of an issue to befool Hindus with; it also made our maulanas jobless.
Kafirs, Murtids galore, deserve their throats being slit
A few questions these Juhala should be asked. How come you all get so excited, if even a nincompoop like Chander Mohan claims to have embraced Islam, even if it is clear, right from the beginning that he is merely out to cheat his wife as well as his mistress? A wave of jubilation runs through the community almost world-wide even if one silly conversion takes place, even if it is done under compulsion which is totally opposed to Islamic teachings.
But on the other hand practically every Muslim "scholar" is eager to denounce virtually every Muslim sect other than his own as Kafir or murtid and out of Islam.Now why should Mayawati government merely exclude Ahmadiyas from the text books? Why not Shias? Why not Wahhabis? Why not Sunnis? Why not Bareilwis? Why not Deobandis? Why not Sufis? And so on. They are all kafirs in the eyes of one or the other sect.
If no one knows what Islam is all about, why teach Islam at all?
Ask all these Juhala, who are mentioned in the report below, who are asking Ahmadiyas to be excluded from the text books, ask them the same question, the former chief justice of Pakistan Supreme Court Justice Munir, investigating the widespread riots against the Ahmadiyas in 1953, had asked the Juhala of every sect in his country: Who is a Muslim? How would you define Islam? No two Juhala, he reported, in his report [available on this site in full], even from the same sect agreed on any definition of a Muslim.
So the real question before Mayawati government would be: If no one knows what Islam is all about, why teach Islam at all? Excluding Islam itself from the text books should be the safest option.

Reservations for Indian Muslims: Conflicting Claims about Caste
Typically, they have angrily decried demands for affirmative action for 'low' caste Muslims as 'divisive', and even as a 'conspiracy to destroy Muslim unity' or even to 'Hinduise the Indian Muslims' at the same time as they make no effort to promote meaningful Muslim unity by, for instance, denouncing caste endogamy among the ashraf, making Muslim organizations more socially inclusive by incorporating more non-ashraf in decision making positions, or critiquing the divisive sectarianism of the mullahs, which takes the form of angry polemics between rival Islamic sects, each of which claims to alone represent Islamic authenticity. Behind such appeals of ashraf leaders to promote 'Muslim unity' in the face of 'low' caste demands for state-sponsored affirmative action, which they denounce as 'divisive' and 'un-Islamic', one can detect a distinct nervousness at the prospect of the numerically much more significant non-ashraf threatening their claims to leading and representing the entire Muslim community. -- Yoginder Sikand, NeweAgeIslam.com

The wonderful outpouring of support for our right to build this community center from across the social, religious and political spectrum seriously undermines the ability of anti-American radicals to recruit young, impressionable Muslims by falsely claiming that America persecutes Muslims for their faith.
